is an emerging field of research dealing with the interaction between natural and social systems, and with how those interaction affect the challenge of sustainability: meeting the needs of present and future generations while substantially reducing poverty and conserving the planet’s life support systems. While scientific understanding is expected, it is also expected to understand the dynamics among human society, thus it must be beyond the traditional, value neutral and objective science. It is also called a new mode of organization of scientific research. Whichever topic can be a research topic of sustainability science, but various research interest, knowledge, wisdom, academic skills from natural and social scientific studies and also humanities. Those who are eager to keep studying what "the limited earth" means and what is human happiness which can be sustained under such limits are welcome!
